Paradise Paintball is a 3-D game that you can download and play on your computer, both Mac and PC, or on MySpace, Facebook and on Cmune’s website portal. It is a really popular game and has been a big hit for some months. Many would argue that it’s the best paintball game online.
The game concept is that you get an avatar, areas to visit, weapons to choose from, and lots and lots of gears and options. You can play with your friends or join other players across the world in real-time mode. Yes, the game is free. But there is a catch. You have to sign up and pay for your items and options. Without paying for your items and options, you are very limited.

First, once you are inside the game, you have to figure out what type of sniper you will be. This is your style in the game. There several styles to choose from and
each have advantages and disadvantages, including the right tactics that you should use.
A “Camper” is for long-range and the idea is that you stay in one location and pick off targets.
A “Marksman” is for mid-range and requires a bit of movement and rapid ducking.
“Close-up & Personal” means that you want to go with close range fighting, which involves lots of traveling and using many weapons.
Here are some tactics and advice to help you, depending on your style selection in Paradise Paintball.
Campers:
Target and go after players who are Marksmen, because the people who fight up close are will have an advantage on you. Mostly, they are tricky to aim at because they move around quite a bit.
Your tactic should be stay away from the center of the battle. Look for speed box locations (hint: look on the center islands). Good advice would be to hide in the rocks and look down for targets to take out, or you could go for the bunker, which has ammo and health. You should buy some spring grenades and use those to get you on top of the tall rocks for great targeting.
Marksmen:
You should go after the close-up and personal fighters. Do target them when they are far away. But don’t try to fight them up-close: you will most likely lose the fight. You need to be near ammo and health and keep moving. If you stand still longer than necessary for taking a shot, you may be vulnerable.
Close-up and Personal:
You should try to get close to your targets and go for hand-to-hand combat. You will have the advantage because of your better agility and reflexes.
You will need lots of ammo, so grab as much as you can. Why? You probably end up missing 50% of your shots. And do switch weapons to get the job done right.
Okay, let’s now turn to the weapons in Paradise Paintball:
Machine gun: Shoots 3 rounds per second. The reload time is about one second, and only reload when less than 10 rounds are left. The best advice is aim for the chest and to not hold down the fire button or you will soon be out of ammo. Just use short bursts. If you are carrying a machine gun, walk slow and keep low to the ground. Get some extra ammo. The 3 clips you get are not enough; get more. Lastly, if you are in a fight and you need to reload, reload and then switch to another weapon and then switch back. It will be ready.
Rocket Launcher: Shoots one rocket per second. It does 60 maximum damage points and a minimum of 5. The reload time is 3 seconds. Aiming takes longer than another weapon and firing one does give your position away. Also, if you aim poorly, you can hurt yourself. Grab ammo when you see it.
Spring Grenades: These aren’t free; you will have to buy them. But they will become very handy. They will allow you to escape much faster than running.
Final Thoughts:
Find some cool spots to hide in, grab plenty of ammo, grab enough health to stay at 125 HP, and just have fun. You can always restart and have another go at Paradise Paintball!
